I created this poster during the time of the Pulse Night Club shooting in June 2016. For me, this poster represents a union of race, religion, gender and sexuality which all were under attack in different ways during this shooting. While the shooting itself was tragic, taking 49 innocent lives, the aftermath of the shooting led to a joining of two unlikely communities: the Muslim community and the LGBTQIA community.
